How to make a good project for school!

I've had a lot of projects in my schooling years, and here are my quick tips for getting 100 on your project!

• Start early, but save the BULK for the weekends.: Okay, so I know, "do the project each night!" but that does not work for me. I think about the project each night and jot down ideas, but START TYPING THE REPORT or PUTTING TOGETHER THE MODEL on the weekends because I don't have to fit in homework. And innless your teacher is the Grinch, they'll give you at least 1 weekend(maybe  more) before the project is due.
• READ ALL DIRECTIONS! ,Oh, and don't mosey on down to the bathroom while she/he is explaining the project: once I forgot to do a part of  the project and got 10 points off! Don't forget to read the directions.
• Add color!: using crayons or markers makes your project seem more fun to look at, and you might just get extra points. Now don't take this too far, don't color your teacher! But if you do a model of the sun, paint it yellow. Color the background of the paper. It'll look like you spent more time and effort on the project, even when the coloring job is messy. And to grab the extra points, make sure it ISN'T in the directions, but ask your teacher first.
•  Turn in just before the due date.: If you get the project done on the weekends as suggested, do this tip. If your project is due on Wednesday, turn it in or Tuesday. It'll look like you had more time to finish it, and once I got 5 extra points for doing this! SCORE!
• Details matter, but aren't mandatory. If you have time to put down one more fact then assigned, do it! If you have time to draw an extra chimp in your rainforest model, do it! (I see extra points!) but don't feel like you have to. Extra points are good, but if you do these tips, you'll already have some! Don't stress about the small stuff, focus on the BIG aspects of your project.
